Norah Baqui
Marketing Intern
Nora Baqui is a native New Yorker from Queens and the daughter of Bangladeshi immigrants whose lives have spanned multiple continents. With family roots stretching from Bangladesh to the U.K. to New Zealand, Nora grew up in a globally minded household where curiosity, culture, and connection were part of everyday life. Those influences continue to shape her perspective today.
A current finance student at NYU Stern, Nora blends analytical drive with a genuine interest in people and human-centered problem solving. Before Stern, she attended Miss Porter’s School, an all-girls boarding school in Farmington, Connecticut. Immersed in that community, she learned how to support others, lead with empathy, and challenge herself in ways that shaped her confidence and ambition. She loved her time there, but is happy to be back in the city, where she feels most at home.
She has gained hands-on experience across real estate and capital markets through internships with The Eric Berman Team at Compass and Logan Growth Advisors. In those roles, Nora found her passion for thoughtful problem-solving, clear communication, and supporting clients through meaningful decisions. She also volunteers with SAPNA NYC and the W!SE Institute, teaching financial literacy to equip underserved communities with the tools, confidence, and foundation for long-term economic stability.
Nora’s love for travel, great food, and the ongoing search for New York City’s best ice cream reflects her belief that the world is meant to be explored with intention (ask her for her latest Beli rating—she takes this responsibility seriously). On the weekends, you can often find her strolling through the West Village after watching the Formula One races and grabbing brunch with friends.
Nora joins Longwave Financial as a Marketing Intern, bringing an entrepreneurial mindset, an eye for detail, and a commitment to creating warm, memorable client experiences. She is excited to contribute to Longwave’s mission while learning from a team that values integrity, growth, and long-term relationships.
