Born and raised on the beautiful Fidalgo Island, Krista has no desire to live anywhere else. As the youngest child with 3 older brothers, Krista had to keep up with the boys right from the start and was always treated as one of them. This, along with her red hair, helped shape her personality into being strong, independent, and a little bit feisty. The water is her happy place, whether she’s fishing responsibly for whatever is in season or just going for a boat ride. Any body of water brings her instant relaxation. Krista and her husband Andy love exploring the magnificent mountains and water of the PNW.  Now that their 2 daughters are out of state at different universities, they enjoy traveling to Arizona and Virginia to visit each in their college towns. 

Before joining the financial services industry in 2015, Krista was an administrator in the optometry field. For a decade, Krista worked with Eric, providing in-depth, high touch client service. In a short time, she obtained FINRA Series 6 and 63 securities registrations and a Washington state life, disability, and long-term care license because learning is important to her. Krista is a kind and genuine human, who supports people in ways that matter to them, while also enjoys finding ways to problem-solve. In her new position as Chief of Staff, Krista will bring together her talent, experience and feistiness to supporting Longwave’s growth and development.
